Test series and class tests for UPSC, JKAS and JKSSB

A test taken in the week it is taught measures teaching. A test taken under exam conditions measures readiness. Both matter, and they are different exercises, which is why class tests and the test series run alongside each other here rather than one standing in for the other.

Testing runs through the courses rather than sitting at the end of them. Class tests track whether teaching has landed; the test series rehearses the examination itself.

What this means in practice

  • Regular class tests to monitor and improve performance, built into the classroom programmes
  • An integrated Prelims and Mains test series within the mentorship programmes
  • Testing on previous years' questions, with detailed PYQ analysis
  • Over 100 practice tests with detailed performance analysis in the JKSSB General Batch
  • Three full-length free tests for JKSSB aspirants, open to anybody
  • Test analysis and feedback after the paper, not only a score

Common questions

Does Quintessence Classes run a test series?

Yes. An integrated Prelims and Mains test series runs within the mentorship programmes, and regular class tests run through the classroom courses. The JKSSB General Batch includes over 100 practice tests with performance analysis.

Is there a free test series for JKSSB?

Yes. JKSSB Free Tests offers three full-length tests designed on the exam pattern, at no cost.

What happens after a test?

Test analysis and feedback follow the paper. Our mentorship programmes also track performance over time, including weakness analysis using heat maps.

Is the test series separate from the courses?

Testing is built into the programmes rather than sold apart from them. The JKSSB free tests are the exception and are open to anybody.
