The Mains is not a test of what a candidate has read. It is a test of what they can put on paper in seven minutes, in a structure an examiner can mark quickly. That is a separate skill from knowing the syllabus, and it is the one most aspirants leave until too late.
Marks in the Mains are given for how an answer is built, not only for what the candidate knows. Answer writing is therefore taught as a skill in its own right across our programmes, and practised under evaluation rather than alone.
Yes. Structured answer writing practice runs at three levels across our programmes, with evaluation and one-to-one guidance on answer structuring, alongside Mains synopsis support and an essay guidance programme.
They are evaluated. Our mentorship programmes list answer writing with evaluation, test analysis and feedback as named features, and Mains evaluation and synopsis support alongside them.
Answer writing practice is part of our classroom and online programmes at Quintessence Classes in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, so it can be done in class or from home with the same evaluation.
